When it comes to philanthropic fundraising, sponsorship and partnerships, Rachael knows her stuff. From raising $230k for Australia’s bushfire relief to working with the team to raise $1.4m for brain cancer research, and supporting grants for the alpine regions during Covid.
Australia’s 2020 bushfire season captured the hearts of the world with scenes of human and wildlife horror. Rachael worked with her clients and partners to create the Snowaid Australia online auction with 120 auction items raising $230k in 10 days.
As sponsorship manager and publicist for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation from 2012 to 2016, Rachael helped take the annual ball from a $600k fundraiser to a $1.4m fundraiser. Covid border closures impacted Victorian alpine businesses financially, emotionally and mentally. When Arc’teryx Australia approached Rachael to advise on fundraising and online auction organisation, she jumped at the chance to help with the Victorian Alps Relief Auction.
